We started from the 11 stations we track and kept those with 2,000 Wh or more, plus the 1 kWh-class DELTA 3 Plus because EcoFlow lists extra batteries for it. Stations of a few hundred Wh are left out. We compared output, expandability, listed switchover time, weight and US price per Wh using manufacturers’ published specifications and store prices on Oct 11, 2026. Those are dated reference prices and several were promotional. This is research, not hands-on testing.

The F3800’s 162-minute AC charge comes from Anker’s UK page, at a 1,800 W grid input. The C2000 Gen 2 takes the overall award because it is the only 2 kWh-class unit that combines expansion with a 10 ms switchover at under 20 kg. Connecting a power station to your home
To connect a power station to house wiring you need a transfer switch installed by a qualified electrician. Without one, run appliances directly from the station’s own outlets. Check that the continuous rating covers the combined load, and that any appliance with a motor can cope with the station’s surge rating.
What to watch out for
Stock and prices change. On Oct 11, 2026 the C2000 Gen 2 was shipping from Oct 16 and its $899.99 price was a promotion against a $1,499.99 regular price (about $0.73 per Wh). The F3800 and HomePower 3000 were also on sale, and the DELTA 3 Plus was a US pre-order. Use the runtime calculator to estimate how long your essentials will run, and see the power station list and our budget list.
FAQ
Can I plug a power station into my house wiring?
Only through a transfer switch installed by a qualified electrician. Never back-feed a home circuit through an outlet.
Which of these switches over fastest?
The C2000 Gen 2 and DELTA 3 Plus list a switchover of 10 ms or less, while the HomePower 3000, F3800 and Explorer 2000 v2 list 20 ms or less. These are manufacturers' upper bounds.
